This article examines the methods and techniques employed by the Iran International network in representing the 2022 unrest in Iran. The unrest, which began following the death of Mahsa Amini and protests against the conduct of law enforcement, quickly evolved into one of Iran's significant social and political challenges. The aim of this article is to analyze the representation of these events, identify the frameworks used, and examine the potential impacts of this media coverage on audiences. Using a qualitative approach and content analysis, this study analyzes selected data from the network's programs during a specific period (from early September to late December 2022) and investigates the patterns of highlighting and framing employed. The findings of the article indicate that Iran International, by emphasizing themes such as human rights, social and economic dissatisfaction, and the role of security forces, sought to influence public opinion. Additionally, the network utilized techniques such as highlighting events and polarizing perspectives to present a one-sided narrative of Iran's internal developments. The representation of events on this network was primarily aimed at intensifying audience emotions and increasing criticism of governing institutions. The article's practical recommendations include strengthening media diplomacy, producing competitive content in domestic media, and enhancing media literacy to mitigate the negative impacts of international media.
